- Name calling. There's a lot of the word bitch. Britney loves calling people bitch. But it's in that kind of gay community way where it's not so offensive?
- Woman not in relation to man
- Woman is not really objectified. The things we want in life are a bikini body and a fancy car? But we get it by working. This is kind of in the vein of Destiny's Independent Women. But I think it may be doing even more than that. Britney is also making the claim that she works hard for what she's got. Some of which may be because of her body, but she works hard for that too. It's not just sitting pretty that will get you by.
- You wanna hot body
You wanna Bugatti
You wanna Maserati
You better work bitch - Women as empowered. First of all, Britney is fierce. Second, she's encouraging all y'all bitches to be fierce, too.
Feminist ratings of Billboard top 40 songs based on lyrics -Is there name calling? -Is this objectifying women? -Is this empowering or showing women as powerful (or the opposite)? -Is this about women as in relation to man?
